How to: Create the perfect flower bouquet for the weekend

How to: Create the perfect flower bouquet for the weekend

OK ladies. Let's be honest, there are few things that's better than fresh flowers for the weekend (ok, so maybe a clean house!!!). Imagine walking home after a Friday afternoon at the busy office, opening the door to your home and become swept away by the lovely smell of lilies or eucalyptus! Close to heaven! And if the man haven't picked up on the (worlds) easiest way to impress a woman yet, well then let's get it for our selfs then!

Most of our tables at home is decorated by coffee table books, or should I say books that are big enough to look like their made for being table decor. On top of the books, next to some candles (hello romantic evenings!) and other small decor items, you'll find pots and vases filled with plants and flowers. I'm a bit obsessed by flowers, and don't expect you to be as over the top as me, but decorating with flowers really puts the cherry on top. And a little tip from me: by using both plants and flowers means that every time you buy new flowers you don't need to buy a dozen because the plant does half the decor job already. This past weekend I decorated our house with eucalyptus and some pink flowers (ehm.. can't remember the name!!). I like the bouquet to be a little whimsical and out of order, but still look fresh and in place. So to make this happen I often mix flowers in one color with some eucalyptus.

HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!
